1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using LangSyncer ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LangSyncer is a translation management platform that provides:

• Cloud-based translation storage and management
• AI-powered automatic translation services
• API and CDN distribution of translations
• Integration tools for Laravel and other frameworks
• Team collaboration features

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access
• Immediately notify us if you discover or suspect any security breaches

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3.1 Account Security and Sharing

Account sharing is strictly prohibited. You agree that:

• Your account credentials are personal and non-transferable
• You will not share your password, API keys, or access tokens with third parties
• You will not allow multiple individuals to use the same account credentials
• Each user must have their own account with separate login credentials
• API keys are for your use only and must not be shared or published publicly

Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination without refund.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Billing

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis, depending on your selected plan.

4.2 Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period. At the end of the trial, you will be automatically charged unless you cancel before the trial ends.

4.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify our prices. Any price changes will be communicated to you at least 30 days in advance and will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

4.4 Refunds

Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. However, if you cancel your subscription, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

5. User Content and Responsibility

5.1 Your Content

You are solely responsible for all content you upload, submit, store, or translate using the Service, including but not limited to:

• Translation keys, values, and source texts
• Project names, descriptions, and metadata
• Any files imported or exported through the Service

5.2 Content Disclaimer

LangSyncer does not review, verify, endorse, or assume any responsibility for the content you translate or store using our Service. You represent and warrant that:

• You have all necessary rights and permissions to use the content you submit
• Your content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights
• Your content does not violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Your content is not defamatory, obscene, harmful, or otherwise objectionable

We expressly disclaim any liability for the accuracy, legality, appropriateness, or quality of any user-submitted content.

6. AI Translation Services

6.1 Nature of AI Translations

Our AI-powered translation features utilize third-party artificial intelligence services (including OpenAI and DeepL) to generate suggested translations. These features are provided strictly on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

6.2 AI Translation Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: LangSyncer is not responsible for the content, accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of any translations generated by AI services. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI translations are machine-generated suggestions and may contain errors, inaccuracies, mistranslations, or inappropriate content
• AI translations may not accurately capture nuance, context, cultural sensitivities, or specialized terminology
• AI translations may produce results that are grammatically incorrect, semantically wrong, or contextually inappropriate
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated translations
• AI translation quality may vary based on language pairs, content type, and technical limitations

6.3 Human Review Requirement

We strongly recommend that all AI-generated translations be reviewed and validated by qualified human translators before use in production environments. This is especially critical for:

• Legal, medical, financial, or technical content
• Customer-facing communications
• Content with regulatory or compliance implications
• Marketing materials and brand messaging
• Any content where accuracy is essential

By using AI translation features, you accept full responsibility for reviewing, validating, and approving all translated content before deployment.

6.4 AI Usage Limitations

• AI quota limits apply based on your subscription plan
• AI services are subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued
• Third-party AI providers have their own terms of service and usage policies

6.5 AI Fair Use Policy

To ensure fair access for all users and prevent abuse, the following uses of AI translation features are prohibited:

• Automated mass translation requests designed to circumvent quota limits
• Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to flood the AI translation system
• Reselling or redistributing AI translation services to third parties
• Using AI translations to generate spam, misleading content, or SEO manipulation
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, extract, or replicate AI model behavior
• Submitting content designed to manipulate or exploit AI systems

We reserve the right to suspend or limit AI access for accounts that violate this fair use policy.

7. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Content

7.1 General Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Abuse API rate limits or circumvent usage quotas
• Store or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, or offensive

7.2 Prohibited Content

The following types of content are strictly prohibited and may not be uploaded, translated, or processed through the Service:

• Illegal content: Any content that violates local, national, or international laws
• Hate speech: Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Violent or harmful content: Content that glorifies violence, promotes self-harm, or threatens others
• Child exploitation: Any content involving the exploitation or abuse of minors
• Terrorism: Content that promotes or supports terrorist activities or organizations
• Fraudulent content: Phishing, scams, or content designed to deceive or defraud
• Infringing content: Content that violates copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights without authorization
• Malware: Content designed to distribute viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Personal data without consent: Sensitive personal information of third parties without proper authorization
• Spam content: Mass-generated content intended for spam distribution

We reserve the right to remove any prohibited content and terminate accounts that violate these restrictions without notice or refund.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of LangSyncer and its licensors.

8.2 Your Content

You retain all rights to the translations and content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

8.3 Copyright Infringement and DMCA

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. If you believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice containing:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
• Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and its location on the Service
• Your contact information (address, telephone number, email)
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may:

• Perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice
• Experience unplanned downtime due to technical issues
• Modify, suspend, or discontinue features with notice

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 General Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LangSyncer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Unauthorized access to your account
• Any third-party conduct or content

11.2 Content and Translation Disclaimer

LangSyncer expressly disclaims all liability for:

• The content, accuracy, or legality of any text, translations, or data you upload, store, or process through the Service
• Any errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or inappropriate content in AI-generated translations
• Any consequences arising from the use of AI-generated translations without proper human review
• Any damages resulting from your reliance on machine translations for critical, legal, medical, financial, or regulatory content
• Any claims by third parties related to content you have translated or published using the Service
• Cultural, contextual, or linguistic errors in translations that may cause offense, misunderstanding, or harm

11.3 Liability Cap

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LangSyncer, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Content you upload, translate, or distribute through the Service
• Your use of AI-generated translations without proper review
• Any claim that your content infringes third-party rights

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Breach of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Non-payment of fees
• Extended periods of inactivity

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may export your data before termination.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Barcelona, Spain.
